We love clever and inventive solutions to the problem of plastics and we do love what Notpla is doing.
Seaweed is an abundant stock that can be farmed sustainably so it's all positive and is both home compostable and recyclable ( so I am told, although I haven't seen any evidence of this but it all sounds good.
The great news is that Notpla has just won the Earth Shot award with a great bonus of £1 million pound.
We are looking forward to seeing what happens over the next few years and we are certain we will one day be selling or using their materials in our products.
