Who We Are
We are a humble team at The Pure Option™ and we don’t like to brag (we are British, after all!), but we are incredibly passionate about making a difference. We founded this business with a lofty—and perhaps slightly crazy—mission: to say goodbye to single-use plastics made from dead trees and dinosaurs.
We might not call ourselves eco-warriors, but we are driven by a simple goal: to be an ethical, values-led business. We only supply products that perform brilliantly while having a genuinely positive impact on our planet.
We don't compromise on our beliefs. We were authentic before it became a buzzword, and socially responsible before it became fashionable. We believe that we can and must make a difference, and we are here to help our customers do the same.

Purpose-Driven Products: We only produce and distribute products that offer a clear environmental benefit.
Keeping it Local: We are constantly working to reduce our carbon footprint. Currently, 72% of our products are made right here in the UK, reducing shipping miles and improving their carbon performance by 12% (and we are hard at work on the remaining 28%!).
Innovating for Tomorrow: We actively review our processes and research new bio-polymers (plant-made materials) to ensure we are always finding better, greener ways to do things.
Giving Back: We believe businesses have a duty to their local environment. That’s why we share 10% of our profits with local charities and community organizations.

Putting Our Team First: We believe work should be a happy place with a great work-life balance. We support the ethical treatment of our team, pay at least the living wage, and distribute 10% of our profits back to our employees. When we succeed, they succeed.
Hiring for Heart: We try to live these values in our own homes, and we hire people based on their values and character, not just their CV.
Ethical Supply Chains: We only partner with suppliers who share our ethical and environmental values. We prefer to work with SEDEX members, but above all, we require our partners to treat their people and the planet with respect.
