Sorry if you have experienced out of stocks

Sorry if you have experienced out of stocks

You may of noticed we have had a few supply issues and we wanted to let you know why.

We have had a lot of issues we have had to face since covid, including the chaotic Plastic Tax and Plastic ban, but materials have been the biggest issue.

Things have gone a bit mental since covid, so getting the materials for our products has become a huge issue, shortages and the huge price increases along with greatly increases minimum order quantities for materials have created a perfect storm, that could of driven a business under, if we didn't think the way we do (Barrier free and quickly adaptive).

So we identified an issue , we just can't pass the increased costs onto our customers and our customers have developed an “Amazon” way of thinking , we want to order it today for delivery tommorow, so we had to fix these issues to remain in business.

Solving these issues made us go back to basics, if we want to lower the price of our products, why not look at alternatives that eliminate the need for a commercial waste collection and aren't made of materials that incur the plastic tax ( we had to pay the tax for not putting recycled plastics in our products) , so this is what we did -

The UK's waste industry is a total mess (pun intended) and as a company that sends it's products around the world , we needed to find a solution that worked for all countries and that's when we thought, let's find a solution that solves all of the barriers for our customers and for our future customers, so we are now moving to a recyclable as well as compostable range of products.

This transition is designed to make up for the gaps in how waste is treated in the UK and the world deal with their waste, some forward thinking countries have gone down the plant based route (we are thinking of you Canada and Australia) and other countries haven't grasped that recycling is just recycling a problem for later (we are thinking of you UK).

So we are moving towards a range that is affordable, recyclable, biodegradable and compostable all in one, a bit of a challenge but we really do think we have nailed it.

This has inevitably led to some product shortages while we move from one material to another and we didn't want to open a warehouse just for our delisted and reduced products, so we had space issues but we are almost there.

We have also addressed the issues with material price increases by using readily available materials like wood to eliminate price increases and we have also started charging what it costs us to send your order, it's transparent and honest, no more free delivery but if we kept this we would of had to add about 10% to all of our products and that didn't seem open and transparent to us.

This means that you should not notice any stock shortages going forward as our transition is nearly complete ( except for suprise high demand times and these are impossible to predict).

We hope to show you over the next few months that we are a perfect supplier for your business as a truly ethical, environmental and now reliable partner.

Once again thanks for your patience while we made these changes, and we look forward to making up for this shortage in the next few months.
