Zero Petrol. Zero Plastics. Zero Dead Dinos.
We’re going to be honest: we’re not fans of digging up ancient fossils just to make a takeaway box. That’s why everything we make is 100% plant-based.
We’ve swapped the "dead dinos" (crude oil) for things like corn, sugarcane, and sustainable wood. The result? Packaging that comes from the earth and is designed to go right back into it.
No toxic vibes, no microplastics, and definitely no prehistoric creatures in your coffee cup. Just plants being awesome.

The "Only Materials" Bit
Our Product & Material Certifications
We believe that good businesses should leave the planet in a better state than they found it. That’s why we only partner with companies and organisation who are as obsessed with a sustainable & greener world as we are.
🌲 Sustainable Wood & Paper
If it’s made of wood or paper, it’s coming from a responsible source. This means there’s a "replanting program" (for every tree used, new ones join the party) and a "chain of custody," which is just a fancy way of saying we know exactly which forest it came from and that it was harvested properly.
♻️ The "Will it Rot?" Test (EN13432 & ASTM D6400)
The US likes the ASTM D6400 certification, while the rest of the world goes for EN13432.
They’re essentially twins and both guarantee that our products won't be damaging the planet for centuries to come.
To save you from a boredom-induced nap, here is the simplified breakdown of what these mean:
-
Disintegration: It turns into soil as fast as paper does.
-
Biodegradability: It breaks down into tiny, safe pieces.
-
Eco-Positive: The resulting compost is healthy enough to grow seeds.
-
No Heavy Metals: It’s safe for the worms and the earth.
🌍 Our Friends With Environmental Benefits (To the Planet)
We choose our service providers based on their green credentials:
-
Carbon Capture: Many of our partners work with the Woodland Trust to plant trees and soak up Co2.
-
Clean Servers: Our website lives on servers are managed by a company that plants trees to offset the carbon.
-
Green Deliveries: We use Royal Mail because they’re currently the UK's greenest delivery option (more walking, less driving).
The Ethical Bit
Socially Responsible Sourcing
We don’t just take a supplier's word for it; we use our Purely Positive™ standard to make sure nobody is being treated poorly in the making of our packaging.
-
Join the Club: All employees are free to join unions and negotiate for better perks.
-
Fair Pay: No "starving artist" wages here. Everyone gets a fair market rate.
-
Side note: Our own team gets the Living Wage plus a share of the profits. When we win, they win.
-
-
Safety First: No "danger zones." Workplaces must be safe and sound.
-
The "Under 16" Reality Check: We don’t hire anyone under 16. However, we learned that a total ban on our suppliers doing so actually hurt families in some regions. Instead, we insist that if they do employ young people, they get fair pay and work no more than 30 hours a week. We’d rather support them than abandon them.
-
No Handcuffs: No sneaky zero-hour contracts (unless the employee actually wants one) and definitely no unpaid work.
-
Honest Business: No bribes, no corruption, no "under the table" deals. If it feels greasy, we don’t do it.
-
No Discrimination: We don’t care about your race, sex, age, religion, or who you love. If you share our values, you’re in. It’s in our DNA.
-
Fair Hours: Nobody is forced to work more than 40 hours a week. Life is for living, not just for packaging (excludes the Directors who would love only 40 hours).
The Bottom Line
We don’t have skeletons in our closets (mostly because there’s no room with all the compostable samples). When you work with us, you’re buying more than just a box—you’re buying a piece of a more honourable, positive way of doing business, we call it being a responsible corporate citizen.
You can trust us as we only do the good stuff
