Important please note 

The ear loops on these masks can shrink in cold and expand in hot conditions, so should the mask feel tight or lose, please do the following.

1. Place the masks in a warm environment if they are tight or in a room temperature environment if they are loose around the ears.

2. You can also stretch the elastic ear loop by gripping the paper part with your thumb and index finger where the ear loops go into the mask (this stops them separating from the mask) and pull the elastic until it becomes less taut.

This is completely normal and is a consequence of the properties of extreme temperature on the ear loop.

If wearing this mask to protect against respiratory  issues like Covid, Type 1 masks have not had large scale clinical trials undertaken like medical grade masks , so we can not legally say they are stop covid , only that they reduce the risk , we should also point out that evidence does imply that they can stop Covid but without those large scale trials , we can only say they reduce the risk - Information on Type 1 research can be found here.
